Inderscience Publishers (London) has begun the publication of the "International Journal of Corporate Governance," a new online quarterly journal that analyzes issues related to corporate governance. An annual subscription costs [euro]494 for one user and [euro]840 for 2-3 users.
The new journal is targeted to legal practitioners, business executives, regulators, researchers and consultants in corporate governance. The mission of the journal is to be a forum for the exchange of information on corporate governance, including emerging trends and concerns faced by companies in a range of areas. It also includes articles that apply financial regulations and organizational behavior to corporate governance issues.
Content includes coverage of topics such as: corporate governance structures and codes, issues related to financial distress and corporate recovery, shareholder activism and rights, voting rights and proxy voting, ownership structures, minority-majority shareholder conflict, investor and creditor protection, the role of board committees and board of directors, managerial behavior, incentive structures, contracting, ethics and social responsibility, the impact of corporate and securities law, insider trading, financial reporting and disclosure, hostile takeovers, restructuring, and conflicts of interest.
