Arbitration.(Books and Reports ...)

Juris Publishing (Huntington, NY) has released "Precedent in International Arbitration," a hardcover volume that is divided into two main sections, International Commercial Arbitration and International Investment Arbitration. The new book examines such concepts as reference to arbitral precedents to support a decision, the viability of arbitral precedent, the existence of consistent arbitral case law, and comparison of arbitral and national case law. It also covers the confidentiality of awards, the impact of the publication of awards, whether arbitral awards constitute a source of international law, and the similarity of issues in disputes arising under the same or similarly drafted investment treaties. It costs $125.
