CLIA-waived system quickly measures hematocrit.(Centrifuges)


HemataSTAT is a microhematocrit system that provides a quantitative hematocrit and has a 60-second spin time, quiet operation, a built-in digital tube reader with LCD display of prompts and results, and a six-place rotor. The hematocrit method measures the amount of red blood cells in relation to the amount of plasma. The test requires a small blood sample from a fingerstick. This small, lightweight system has clear, disposable tube holders for safe and easy clean up in case of sealant blowout; a built-in tachometer; and an optional rechargeable battery for portability. This product is CLIA waived and has displays in English, French, German, Italian or Spanish.
