TEI's incoming officers, Executive Committee, and chapter presidents gathered on the Isle of Palms near Charleston, South Carolina in June to discuss their goals and objectives for the upcoming year. The two-day program at the Wild Dunes Resort also provided featured a firm footing in process and procedures.

TEI 2007-2008 President Bob McDonough welcomed the group on June 23 and then turned the program over to 2008-2009 President Vince Alicandri, who outlined his goals for the coming year. Mr. Alicandri and members of the Institute's staff led discussions of financial and administrative guidelines. Also included in the program were two break-out sessions, which gave the leaders ah opportunity to discuss membership recruitment and retention and educational programs with their peers.
