Second mortgage.(Whispers)
Bank of Little Rock Mortgage Corp. has taken on a second mortgage, but not in the way you might think. Bank of Little Rock Mortgage acquired Barron Mortgage of Fort Smith in a deal that amounted to the low five figures. As part of the deal, Barron Mortgage will operate as "Barron Mortgage, a division of Bank of Little Rock." It will be the seventh Arkansas location of Bank of Little Rock and the first outside central Arkansas.
