Stephens hires Texas energy investment team.(BANKING & FINANCE)

Stephens Inc., the Little Rock investment bank, has hired six of eight investment professionals from Energy Capital Solutions LP of Dallas and Houston to form a new energy investment banking group.

Managing directors of the team are Keith J. Behrens and Bradley D. Nelson, who co-founded Energy Capital Solutions in 2001, and Ronald S. Montalbano. Other new hires for the energy team are Will Page, who will serve as a vice president, Joseph Allio, an associate, and Steven L. Hanks, an analyst.

The new employees will work out of Stephens' existing Dallas office and a new office in Houston, which is the former ECS office space there.
