Washburn pleads guilty to defrauding bank.(LEGAL)

Dana Washburn of Rogers, former co-owner and leasing manager for Beau Terre office park, waived indictment and pleaded guilty in federal court last week to a single count of defrauding Pulaski Bank & Trust.

The accusations against Washburn, 40, were the subject of a cover story in the May 11 issue of Arkansas Business. She and her husband, former Wal-Mart executive and real estate developer Colon Washburn, were the unidentified customer blamed for a $3.6 million charge-off by Pulaski Bank's parent company, IberiaBank Corp. of Lafayette, La., in the fourth quarter of 2008.
