The Galileo KineMic is an entry level modular video-based inspection system suited for quality assurance, receiving inspection, training, manufacturing, assembly, research, documentation, and other applications. The base system includes a 6-1 magnification range with a programmable magnification range from 2x and 0.5x zoom with auxiliary lenses, and a microscope stand with coarse-fine focus control. LED illumination is provided with a wired remote dimmer control. A high-resolution color video camera with 1/3" color CCD offers 768 horizontal by 494 vertical resolution. The 15" monitor provides video magnification with programmable standard magnification range at 34x to 215x and a 13" monitor at 22x to 142x. Field of view is 0.360" low to 0.056" high. A 2"x2" X-Y stage with LCD micrometer heads and a digital crosshair generator is available as an option. It is also available with calibration standards. The L.S. Starrett Co., Booth 5549
