Farm transaction.(Real Deals: A Look at Important Real Estate Transactions)

Nearly 1,900 acres of farmland in southeast Pulaski County helped tip the scales at $4.5 million.

SS Family Farm LLC, led by Stephanie Smith, bought the property, south of Bredlow Corner between Labelle Bayou and Beaverdam Bayou. The seller is Faver Farms Ltd., led by Ed Faver Smith.

The deal, which included about 1,000 acres in Jefferson County, is financed with a three-year loan of $4.05 million from Pine Bluff National Bank.

The Faver family has owned the property, which is divided into several tracts, for more than 87 years.
