A former official with the National Center for Toxicological Research at Jefferson, serving as an adviser on the joint UALR/UAMS research, dismissed Lase Med's accusations and noted that:
* Lase Med's procedure is different because it uses a different wavelength and nanotubes with a lesser degree of purity;
* Lase Med does not address the issue of toxicity; and
* Lase Med is not engaged with the medical community.
Indeed, Lase Med's procedures are performed by a doctor of naturopathic medicine and not an M.D.
Meanwhile, Lase Med continues to perform its procedure on patients, and UALR and UAMS scientists continue to move their work closer to clinical trials.
Stay tuned for more on this nano dispute.
