Job search II.(Outtakes: An Inside Look Into Arkansas Media)

It appears that KARK-TV, Channel 4, is in no hurry to replace former General Manager Gayle Kiger, who left the station May 1 for a similar position in Texas. Since Kiger's departure from the Nexstar Broadcasting-owned station, many of his responsibilities have been assumed by employees at the company's Irving, Texas, headquarters and members of the management team in Little Rock, a KARK insider told "Outtakes." It's a setup the insider said had worked out pretty well so far.

Brian Jones, the corporate guy responsible for KARK and sister station KARZ-TV, Channel 42, has visited Little Rock multiple times to handle management duties since Kiger left. In April, Jones said he hoped to find Kiger's replacement before May 1. Apparently that has changed.
