WACKER finances for dispersible powder plant in Nanjing via syndicated loan.(New Setup, Agreement & Plan)

WACKER China finances for its ethylene vinyl acetate polymer (EVA) dispersible powder plant in Nanjing under construction, via syndicated loan led by Jiangsu Branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. The agreement was signed on June 6th.

The Nanjing plant in Jiangsu province is scheduled to be operational in 2009. It is designed to produce 30 000 tons of EVA dispersible powder per year, to serve construction sector for high-quality polymeric binders.

Construction on the Nanjing plant was started in 2007, with an estimated investment of RMB600 million.

WACKER China has currently operated a 5 000 t/a EVA dispersible powder plant in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu province.
