Thomas BioEnergy to invest for Qinhuangdao plant.(New Setup, Agreement & Plan)


Thomas BioEnergy Company Limited, a U.S.-based bioenergy firm, signed a framework agreement with the Qinhuangdao local government for the establishment of a solely foreign-funded firm on June 2nd, 2009.

The proposed plant--Thomas (Qinhuangdao) BioEnergy Co., Ltd., plans to make edible oil and fuel oil from alga at the recycle economic zone, eastern Qinhuangdao, Hebei province.

The 12 hectares plant is expected to cost approximately RMB518 million.

Thomas BioEnergy engages in obtaining power from vegetable oils.
