Zhenghe starts up 600 000 t/a compound fertilizer project.(Inorganics)

On June 8th, 2009 Fujian Zhenghe Fertilizer Co., Ltd. (Zhenghe) started up its first phase 200 000 t/a compound fertilizer project in Xianyou, Puhe of Fujian province, with an investment of RMB60 million.

This whole project with a planned investment of RMB 100 million will include three production lines, each of which has a capacity of 200 000 t/a and can save 6 000 tons of coal and 6 million KWh of electricity every year through using an advanced granulation technology.

The company has got 15 000 tons of compound fertilizer orders totally valued over RMB40 million on June 8th and is seeking oversea orders.

Construction on the first phase was started in October 2008.
