Estates sale.(Real Deals: A Look at Important Real Estate Transactions)

A 5,461-SF home in the Iron Horse Estates neighborhood of west Little Rock sold for $524,000.

John and Shannon Chamberlin acquired the house from Michael and Toni Johnson. The deal is funded with a 30-year loan of $410,000 from Regions Bank of Birmingham, Ala.

The residence previously was tied to an April 2004 mortgage of $276,000 held by Countrywide Home Loans Inc. of Calabasas, Calif., and a September 2006 mortgage of $150,000 held by Bank of America in Charlotte, N.C.

The Johnsons bought the property from BFA Irrevocable Living Trust, led by Arthur Beech. Beech purchased the 5.9-acre spread for $370,000 in January 1998 from Pamela Cotroneo.
