Coupons and manipulation.

Coupon use is way up, but today's shoppers are determined to use them judiciously, and many are complaining about the requirement to purchase more than one item to get the savings. Most of our respondents disagreed with the following statement:

"Give me a $1.00 coupon and I buy almost anything."

Many did agree that they feel they are being manipulate by today's decision makers. And some believe that most of the coupons they are offered are for foods they should be avoiding.
