More powerful versions of VOLTpoint[TM] and TEMPpoint[TM] instruments incorporate proprietary ISO-Channel[TM] technology using galvanic isolation to guarantee 1,000-V isolation between each sensor input. ISO-Channel technology implements a separate DC-DC converter on each 24-bit A/D converter for all 48 channels. Common-mode noise and ground loop problems are eliminated, and sensors at varying ground voltages are individually referenced to their own level.

VOLTpoint measures a range of [+ or -] 10-, [+ or -] 100-, and [+ or -] 400-V inputs for applications such as hybrid-electric vehicle battery performance, high-voltage data acquisition, and battery back-up monitoring. TEMPpoint addresses direct thermocouple, RTD, and precision voltage or resistance measurements with a PC.
