2,100 - Membership in the Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, which will play host this year to the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce National Convention and Expo, expected to draw as many as 5,000 people to Denver from Sept. 16-19.

31% - Percentage growth of Hispanic-owned businesses in the U.S. between 1997 and 2002--three times the national average for all businesses. The nearly 1.6 million Hispanic-owned businesses generated nearly $222 billion in revenue, up 19 percent from 1997.

600 - Number of people expected to attend the National Association of Asian American Professionals 23rd Annual National Convention in Denver in Aug. 13-16.

24% - How much Asian-owned business grew between 1997 and 2002 - about twice the national average, according to the U.S. Census. The 1.1 million businesses generated more than $326 billion in revenues, up 8 percent from 1997. Asians currently make up about 5 percent of the country's population.

25% - How much revenues generated by the nation's 1.2 million black-owned businesses grew between 1997 and 2002, topping $88.8 billion. The number of black-owned firms grew by 45 percent in the same five-year period.

$26.9 billion - How much revenue the 201,387 American Indian- and Alaska native-owned businesses generated in 2002.
