A 7,456-SF manor in west Little Rock's Valley Falls neighborhood rang up a $1.6 million transaction.

Markus Homes Inc., led by Jim and Melinda Markus, acquired the home from Rush Harding III and his wife, Linda. The deal is financed with a one-year loan of $950,000 from One Bank & Trust of Little Rock and a $650,000 loan from the Hardings.

The residence previously was tied to a January 2007 mortgage of $800,000 held by First Security Bank of Searcy.

The house was purchased for $1.7 million in September 2002 from Kimric Inc., led by Randy Ferguson.
