Weekly UpdatesRed Mango was also making news as one of the five winners of the 15th annual Hot Concepts! Awards from Nation's Restaurant News. Each year NRN selected what it considers to be the five most innovative young restaurant chains. Besides Red Mango, the winners were The Lazy Dog Cafe, Smashburger, Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria and Vino Volo. The 2009 Hot Concepts Awards will be presented during NRN's 50th Anniversary Multi-Unit Foodservice Operators Conference to be held at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas from Oct. 4-6.
