Addressing demand for a shelf-stable pro-biotic beverage that does not require refrigeration, Cleveland, OH-based Ganeden Biotech has teamed up with Liquid Health Labs, Deerh'eld, NH, to offer a beverage that utilizes PowerCap technology, a dispensing system that allows pro-biotics stored in the bottle's cap to be released with the press of a button. Fresh Healthy Stuff (FHS) contains a powdered formulation loaded with GanedcnBC30 probiotics, antioxidants from fruit concentrates, vitamins and prebiotic fiber stored inside the cap. Liquid Health Labs has several products in development using this technology, including other offerings that contain GanedenBC30.
