A former top staff member of the National Association of Manufacturers has created a new online manufacturing community. Pat Cleary, formerly senior vice president of communications at NAM and now with Fleishman Hillard's Washington, D.C., office has created "MfgCrunch," a global online community aimed at engaging the Facebook generation with manufacturing issues. "Is it possible to build a global online community by, for and about manufacturers and manufacturing?" Cleary asks in his introduction to the site. "This adventure will provide the answer--in time." The site is located at http://mfgcrunch.ning.com/.
