Carol Schubert Gattis has been named associate dean of the Honors College at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She was formerly the director of engineering recruitment, retention, honors, international programs and diversity. She succeeds Suzanne McCray, who recently became vice provost for enrollment management and dean of admissions. Karen Hodges has been appointed executive director of academic success at the UA. Hodges has worked at the university since 2006 as the director of retention and remediation for the Fulbright College of Arts & Sciences.
