3rd order for reliable Rusmail.(NEWS AND INSTALLATIONS)

Rusmail Conveyor Systems has fulfilled a third order for a QD belt conveyor to handle loose pineapples for leading tropical fruit producer, Compagnie Fruitiere at its Paddock Wood distribution centre.

The 5m conveyor was supplied to 'plug and go' in a newly built packing facility. James Tappenden of Compagnie Fruitiere said: "We chose Rusmail for the job because its products have proved to be reliable and well-made. We also needed a quick turn around and some adaptations made to make it suitable for the food handling environment."

The conveyor unit is constucted of mild steel and came with 'food safe' certification to meet BRC requirements. It was fitted with start/stop buttons at both ends to ensure compliance with health and safety at the site.

The conveyor is simple to operate has variable speed capability and serves to carry fruit to a packing line for stacking at the other end.
