Weekly UpdatesAn ongoing relationship and a reputation for supplying quality equipment has secured Riggs Autopack Ltd another order from part of the Bakkavor group, Cucina Sano Ltd, a key supplier of prepared meals to Marks & Spencer.
Cucina Sano first turned to Riggs Autopack, a leading UK manufacturer of a range of depositing equipment, when it initially purchased a mini-fill depositor for Marks & Spencer's starter range in 2007.
More recently Cucina Sano won Marks & Spencer's new lasagne business and has subsequently purchased 12 fully automatic depositors from Riggs Autopack, which has helped to increase efficiency and ensure the smooth running of the product launch.
The equipment, which was supplied within a very tight deadline, is fully interchangeable on an assembly line where it is being used to dispense meat and bechamel sauce onto varying sized trays at up to 40 packs a minute, which are then passed down an indexing conveyor feeding a tray sealing system.

Delighted by Riggs Autopack's service and the increased productivity the equipment is already achieving, Cucina Sano's factory manager Martin Murray commented: "I have been in this industry for over 10 years and Riggs Autopack is by far the best equipment supplier I have come across, which is why we keep returning to them.

Riggs Autopack was also on hand prior, during and after the initial launch period to provide additional machines and spares on site, which gave Cucina Sano peace of mind whilst coping with the new large workloads.
Mr Murray concluded: "The engineers' depth of knowledge and assistance has been invaluable. We have been thoroughly impressed with the machines easy to use features, which have given us extra efficiency and helped us to successfully meet the increased demands from Marks & Spencer."
