Life is like a box of shrimp, you never know what you're going to get. Unless, that is, it's a Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. product distributed in North America by Culver City, California-based Rubicon Resources. This 312-gram pack of Shrimp Dynamite, featuring a sweet glaze and blend of Thai spices, is one of a range of offerings including Chipotle BBQ, Tequila Lime and Soy Ginger Shrimp. Retailing for $6.99 at an A&P supermarket outlet in Fort Lee, New Jersey, USA, the product is based on recipes served up at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurants, Inc., an international casual eating chain that was inspired by Forrest Gump, a 1994 motion picture starring Tom Hanks. "We're excited about the opportunity to parlay the great food and brand strength of Bubba Gump into the retail world," said Brian Wynn, president and founder of Rubicon Resources. The company, a vertically integrated group of food producers, has an exclusive partnership with more than 15 sustainable aquaculture facilities, primarily in East Asia.
