Tear-down transactions.(Whispers)(Brief article)

For those keeping score, there are two recent residential tear-downs of note in Pulaski County.

The biggest, in more ways than one, is a home in the Palisades Estates neighborhood of Cammack Village bought for $1.35 million.

Savannah Company LLC, led by Craig and Elizabeth Stephens Campbell, acquired the property from Dennis Davis and Patricia Davis.

Built in 1955 for Alfred Kahn Sr., the 3,900-SF house overlooked Murray Park and the Arkansas River valley.

Country club banter indicates the site, which adjoins a Stephens family home, will become a garden.

The razing of the Heights home where TV reporter Anne Pressly was murdered is old news. However, the price tag for the property isn't: $225,000.
