Trias is setting new standards. Trias represents Buhler's continued commitment to further develop long-term established technology. Trias offers the newly developed electronically controlled roll pressure system which enables a wide roll pressure range compared to conventional three roller mills. The maximum roll pressure is increased by approx. 30% up to more than 80 N/mm, resulting in high shear rates for though products. The Trias reaches maximum product throughput at very high roll speeds with outstanding cooling capacity. With the Buhler Viva roll technology a very wide roll pressure range from approx. 0 to 80 N/mm is achieved and offers accurate and repeatable roll pressure and gap control. PLC with data logging and trending, and oil- and contamination-free operation are standard. Buhler also offers the Trias with optional ceramic rolls.
