* I heard several fertilizer industry executives warn crop input retailers and producers that if they didn't make their purchases by early winter (just when fertilizer prices were spiking), they couldn't guarantee supply. As it turned out, I didn't hear of any non-deliveries. Must have been the late spring that allowed inventory to be moved around.
