* The time-honored Lacoste alligator conjures stoic images of French class and sophistication, perhaps 1920s Coco Chanel types daintily lobbing tennis balls in gauzy dresses. But when Lacoste creative director Christophe Lemoire called on Paris-based ortbomb fashion house Andrea Crews to reinterpret its logo for a limited collabo, the label came back with a zany neon croc golfing with a wicked grin, rendered in Crews' signature cut-up flocage method. "We're rooted in a funky slaggy world, so a slaggy crocodile playing golf was very fun to imagine," says Crews designer Maroussio Rebecq. "We just turned it funky and dizzy."
