Hyperboloid contacts designed for micro connectors.(PAUL'S PICKS)

A micro-sized socket has been added to the ICS Series of integraMate[R] hyperboloid contacts. The new ICS40 is 0.031" in diameter and accepts 0.4-mm mating pins. Also available are larger sizes to accept 0.45-, 0.5-, and 0.6-mm pins. All sizes use a 6-wire hyperboloid cage.

The integra-Mate hyperboloid wire cage contact design offers a low mating force, high cycle life, and resistance to shock and vibration. It allows the sockets to be used in high-density board-level connectors as well as in circular and rectangular I/O connectors.
