Upconverter supports transceiver testing.(PAUL'S PICKS)

The Model 2891-IQ Upconverter processes analog I and Q baseband signals for testing a transceiver's transmitter and analog I and Q output signals for testing a transceiver's receiver. It interfaces with single-ended or differential input RF transceivers and contains gain adjustments to accommodate various wireless chipsets and devices.

The compact upconverter features selectable 50-[ohm]/100-k[ohm] input impedance, a-41 dB EVM floor, and nonvolatile EEPROM for storing and recalling 10 user instrument states. It is controlled via a USB connection and programmed with a SCPI command set. Signal differential offsets may be set and adjusted and modulator gain set.
