Dye composition patented by L'Oreal.(Patent Review)


* U.S. Patent No. 7,550,015 B2; L'Oreal S.A. has patented a dye composition comprising, in a medium that is suitable for dying keratin fibers, at least one dye chosen from oxidation dye precursors and direct dyes, at least one surfactant chosen from nonionic surfactants and anionic surfactants, at least one hydroxyethylcellulose, at least one cationic associative polymer; and at least one fatty substance. The weight ratio of the total amount of the at least one surfactant chosen from nonionic surfactants and anionic surfactants to the total amount of the at least one fatty substance is greater than or equal to 1.75, in addition, the dye composition is comprised of water in an amount of at least 40% by weight, relative to the total weight of the dye composition.
