Allion Healthcare of New York said it has entered into a partnership with Being Alive San Diego to launch a Community Learning Center. Construction on a building in Hillcrest started in late July with an anticipated opening date of Oct. 1, according to a July 30 announcement.
Being Alive San Diego is a nonprofit organization that aims to improve the quality of life for people living with HIV/ AIDS. Now in its sixth year, it serves 6,000 individuals annually.
Publicly traded Allion is a national provider of specialty pharmacy and disease management services focused on HIV/ AIDS patients as well as medications and services to chronically ill patients.
