Universal City-North Hollywood Chamber of Commerce: On Saturday, July 25, the Universal City-North Hollywood Chamber held a Fitness Challenge at the East Valley Y.M.C.A. at 5142 Tujunga Avenue, North Hollywood, CA 91601. This event was co-sponsored by the United Chambers of Commerce, the Economic Alliance, and VICA. Village Joe donated dozens of prizes.

This event provided ah opportunity for various 501(c)3 charities to raise funds for their causes, while having fun and promoting physical fitness. The Y.M.C.A., Boy Scouts of America (Soccer and Scouting), American Cancer Society, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society participated. The Chamber is seeking individuals, charities, employers, and prize donors. Each charity recruited its own participants.
