Youth club facelift.

A YOUTH club set up in memory of teenager Hayley Adamson has been given a make-over.

Her sister Sarah Ridley set up Hayley's Den for youngsters in Scotswood, Newcastle, as a testament to the 16-year-old who died when she was hit by a marked police car in May last year.

Wearside-based building firm Frank Haslam Milan North East has donated a kitchen, two laptops and six canvases for the youngsters to decorate to the Scotswood Sports & Social Club on Denton Road.

Sarah, 33, said: "The kitchen makes a big difference and the kids are planning to use the canvases to make signs pointing towards the tuck shop.

"The club allows Hayley's memory to live on and it's fitting as Hayley loved children and it was her dream to work in childcare.''
