Nonwovens producer Sandler AG is mourning the sad loss of senior partner, Diplom-Kaufmann Christian Heinrich Sandier, who passed away last month, just a few weeks before his 80th birthday.
During his academic studies in Nuremberg, Germany, he worked in a wadding company run by his late father. In 1952, after completing his studies, he started work in his father's company and in 1953 became proxy holder and later in 1957 associate and business manager. He built up the company, with capable managers and employees ensuring continuing success through into the next generation. His management skills have resulted in Sandier becoming one of the leading nonwovens producers in Europe.

"Christian Heinrich Sandier was a realistic pragmatist with a distinctive sense of justice. He very early identified opportunities and risks," said a company statement. "We have lost an exceptional employer whose competence, vision, persistence and willpower have been responsible for the success of our company as well as for the well-being of his family. "
