Roger D. Winston, a distinguished real estate attorney and a co-leader of the Planned Communities and Condominiums Group at Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP, will become chair of the 30,000-member Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section of the American Bar Association. Mr. Winston has written and lectured extensively on common interest development law. He is a fellow and board member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. He is also a life director of the Maryland National Capital Building Industry Association and serves on the executive committee of the Washington District Council of the Urban Land Institute. Mr. Winston is the third lawyer from Ballard Spahr to hold the chairmanship of the Real Property, Trust and Estate Law section. Beverly J. Quail, a partner in the firm's Denver office, and Morton P. Fisher, Jr., senior counsel in Baltimore, also served in the position.
