Studley.(WHO'S NEWS)(appointment of J. Thomas Glerum)(Brief article)

Studley announced that J. Thomas Glerum, a seasoned commercial real estate professional with more than 30 years of experience in the industry, has joined the firm as a senior managing director. Mr. Glerum will be based in Studley's Central New Jersey office and will specialize in corporate representation. Prior to joining Studley, Mr. Glerum was a partner at Palestina Properties and a senior director at Cushman & Wakefield, where for 14 years he specialized in corporate leasing and the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate properties. Earlier in his career, Mr. Glerum was employed by Douglas Elliman Knight Frank and Joseph Hilton & Associates.

Mr. Glerum has completed multiple commercial real estate assignments for long-standing corporate clientele, including such major companies as Hoffmann-La Roche, Exxon Research & Engineering Co., IBM and Automatic Data Processing (ADP). Notably, he has completed more than one million square feet in aggregate leases for Hoffmann-La Roche, and over 500,000 s/fin aggregate leases for Exxon Research & Engineering. In addition, he represented Exxon Research & Engineering in its sale of 100 acres of land in Clinton, as well as IBM in its sale of a 645,000 s/f headquarters complex in Franklin Lakes.
