Jones Lang LaSalle has announced that managing director Jonathan Meisel recently earned LEED accreditation, making him one of the company's latest sustainability experts. Meisel's accreditation, part of Jones Lang LaSalle's ongoing initiative to become the acknowledged leader in energy and sustainability services, furthers the company's goals set forth in its Global Sustainability Commitment. Responsible for more than 1 billion square feet of commercial space around the world, Jones Lang LaSalle has demonstrated a high level of professional and social commitment to sustainability.
Meisel, who heads Jones Lang LaSalle's New Jersey operations and is now an Accredited Professional in Commercial Interiors, joins the ranks of more than 500 sustainability accredited individuals at Jones Lang LaSalle, primarily as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professionals (LEED APs), but also including standards such as BREEAM, NABERS Energy (formerly ABGR) and Green Star.
