Stalco Construction, Inc. hired Joseph G. Galvin as project manager. Galvin's responsibilities include complete project management in pre-construction, delivery, and close-out phases. He will manage value engineering and constructability analysis, budgets, development of subcontractor bid packages, overall construction quality and schedule, and post-construction client support services.
Galvin currently manages multiple school renovations and expansions for the West Babylon Union Free School District in West Babylon, NY. The project encompasses interior renovations and capital improvements at West Babylon Junior High School, John F. Kennedy Elementary School, Santapogue Elementary School library, and South Bay Elementary School library. Prior to joining Stalco, Galvin served as project architect and construction administrator at BBS Architects & Engineers in Patchogue, NY, architect at JMP Architects in Smithtown, NY, and project manager at several construction firms. His 15-year experience includes managing the construction and design of large-scale ground-up and renovation projects, including the $70-million Smithtown Central School District expansion and capital improvement program in Smithtown, NY.
