BENNETT (Felling). Felling House Gardens. Suddenly but peacefully in hospital, on 27th August 2009, aged 81 years, Frances (Fran, nee Marshall), beloved wife of the late Billy, much loved mam of Billy, Jean, David, Rose, Moira and Michelle, dear mother in law and devoted nanna and great nanna of the family. Cortege to meet on Wednesday 2nd September for Funeral Service and cremation at Saltwell Crematorium at 1.30pm. R.I.P. Friends please meet at crematorium. Private afterwards.

CHIPPERFIELD (Killingworth). Late of Shiremoor. In hospital on August 26th 2009, aged 84 years, David Walter, dearly loved husband of Connie and dear step father to Denise, son in law Ted and grandchildren Janette and Karen and great grandchildren James, Jack, Hannah and Megan. Friends please meet for Funeral Service and cremation at Whitley Bay Crematorium on Wednesday 2nd September at 12.00noon. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Parkinsons and the Alzheimers Society, for which a donation box will be provided at the service.

CULLEN (Felling). On August 25th, aged 92 years, Amelia (nee Smith), dearly beloved of the late Alfred, dearly loved mam of the late Alfie, dearly loved mother in law of Joyce, much loved nanna of Nichola and Michael, also a much loved great nanna of Adam. Requiem Mass to be held at St. Partick's R.C. Church on Thursday 3rd September at 10.00am, interment to follow at Heworth Cemetery. Friends please meet at church. At Abigail Lodge Care Home, on August 25th, aged 78 years, John (Jackie), beloved husband of Norma, much loved dad of Michael and Gillian, father in law of Kerry and Richard, a dear brother in law and uncle. Friends please meet for service at Mountsett Crematorium on Tuesday September 1st at 12.30pm. Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Alzheimers Society. Private afterwards.

FINKLE (Crawcrook). Passed away peacefully in hospital, Rita Louise. Would friends please meet for service and cremation at West Road Crematorium, Newcastle on Thursday 3rd September at 10.45am. No flowers by request.

HAILS (Percy Main). After a short illness in hospital, on 25th August 2009, aged 78 years, Angus, loving husband of Anne, much loved father of Marie and Lisa, father in law to Bob, beloved grandfather to Lauren and a great grandfather to Harlow. Angus will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. Please meet for Funeral Service and cremation at Tynemouth Crematorium, on Friday 4th September at 1.30pm. Family flowers only please, donations may be given to Cancer Research, a donation box will be provided at the crematorium.

RENWICK (Kenton). Tragically on 24th August, aged 85 years, Jean, dearly loved sister of George and Bill, a much loved aunt, great aunt and great great aunt. Will be sadly missed by all her family and friends and all at Brunswick Methodist Church. A service will be held at West Road Crematorium Chapel on Wednesday 2nd September at 1.30pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers to Brunswick Methodist Church if desired.

SMITH (Great Lumley). Peacefully at home on August 24th, aged 75 years, Brian, beloved husband of Pat a devoted dad of Jo, Jackie and Stephen a much loved grandad and great grandad. Will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends.
