Two die in crash.

A FESTIVAL-GOER who died in a car crash along with her friend was named by police today as Nicola Edgar.

The 21-year-old, from Darlington, was killed together with Dominique Williams, 20, from Merseyside, on their way to the Creamfields dance music festival.

The pair were passengers in a blue Renault Clio which crashed into a lamppost and flipped on to its roof.

Two 19-year-old women, from Ormskirk and Maghull, were seriously injured in the crash. They were cut free from the wreckage and remain in hospital.

Emergency services were called to the scene in Halewood, Liverpool, at around 11.30am on Saturday.
