BALL (Pelton). Formerly of Ouston. Suddenly on August 21st, aged 86 years, Tom, beloved husband of Doreen, a devoted dad of Hilda, Susan and Alan, much loved grandad of Thomas, Catherine and Christina, a treasured great grandad. Will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Friends please meet for service at Birtley Crematorium on Thursday September 3rd at 10.00am. Private afterwards.

BROWN (Brunton Park). Peacefully at Ponteland Manor, on 25th August 2009, aged 87 years, Peggy, dearest cousin of Lesley, Bernie, Roger and Gail. Would friends please meet for service at West Road Crematorium, on Thursday 3rd September at 11.30am.

CASTRO (North Shields). Peacefully in hospital on 27th August, aged 82 years, Joyce (nee Cannon), devoted wife of the late George, dear mother of Paul and Vincent, mother in law of Carol and Margaret, dearly loved grandmother of David and Michelle, also beloved sister of Kathleen, Sheila, Sylvia, Eileen and Gordon, a much loved aunt and will be greatly missed by all family, friends and neighbours. Would all please meet for Requiem Mass at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Marden Estate on Friday 4th September at 10.00am, followed by cremation at Tynemouth Crematorium at 11.00am. CLAYTON (Perkinsville). Suddenly at home on Friday August 21st, aged 78 years, Stan, a dearly loved husband of Margaret (nee Davison), a dear dad of Steven, father in law of Aida, grandpa of Israel and Estefania, son in law of Violet, a dear brother, brother in law, uncle and cousin, a very special great uncle of Jack, Harry and George. Will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends. Funeral Service at Holy Trinity Church, Pelton on Thursday 3rd September at 11.00am, followed by interment in Pelton Cemetery at 11.30am. Suddenly on 27th August 2009, aged 54 years, Brian Peter, much loved son of Henry and the late Mary Cunningham, dear brother, brother in law and uncle, much loved dad of Lisa and Marc, devoted grandad of the family, loving partner of Marie. Peacefully at home on August 26th, aged 85 years, Cyril, beloved husband of Molly, father of Cyril and Sheila, father in law of Jen and Malcolm, grandfather and great grandfather to all the family. GERAGHTY (Denton Burn). Formerly Co. Mayo. Ireland. Peacefully in hospital on 26th August 2009, aged 88 years, Patrick (Paddy), loving husband of Barbara and a loving dad, grandad and great grandad. Requiem Mass to be held at St. Bede's R.C. Church, Denton Burn on Thursday 3rd September at 1.15pm, followed by interment at the West Road Cemetery at 2.15pm.
