CRICKET: Ryan Sidebottom insists he is fit and ready to play his part in England's Ashes-winning summer after finally getting the chance to take on Australia.

Sidebottom was overlooked for the triumphant Test series, despite coming close to selection at his former Headingley stomping ground, but remains integral to England's limited-overs set-up.

The Nottinghamshire leftarmer took the new ball in Sunday's washed out Twenty20 at Old Trafford and has plenty more chances to tackle the tourists, with a second T20 in Manchester tonight and seven one-day internationals to follow.

"I still feel as though I've got a lot to offer," he said.
