Skin battle.

A DETERMINED teenager is making the most of his life, despite suffering from a rare skin condition that means even a hug is agonising.

Warren Agnew, 19, has dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa - a condition which means the slightest amount of friction can cause his skin to blister.

It is the same disease which Jonny Kennedy, who touched the hearts of millions in the TV documentary The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off, suffered from.

The teenager, from Blyth, today told the Chronicle: "I just think I have always lived with it, so I don't know what it's like to live without it."
