Fairmont Hotels
The Fairmont Southampton and The Fairmont Hamilton Princess are the official hotel sponsors for the 2009 Bermuda Music Festival, which will take place at the Keepyard in the Bermuda Maritime Museum at the Royal Naval Dockyard on Oct. 29 to 31, 2009. Both hotels offer special packages. The Fairmont Southampton and The Fairmont Hamilton Princess will have two levels of packaging for the festival: Music Festival Silver and Music Festival Gold. Each package includes three nights accommodation in a luxurious room, transportation to and from the venue each evening and a commemorative music festival T-shirt. The Silver Package includes two tickets for the three night of the festival in the Silver seating section. Rates start at USD 999. The Gold Package offers two tickets for the three nights of the festival in the Gold seating section, with rates starting at USD 1,199. For those with festival tickets who only need a guestroom, The Fairmont Southampton and The Fairmont Hamilton Princess each offer rates from USD 199. Packages are based on double occupancy. The Sea-U Guest House in Barbados was awarded a Green Globe Certificate. Sea-U Guest House is located near the village of Bathsheba on the east coast of Barbados, the most natural side of the island. Uschi Wetzels, owner, manager and host, fell in love with Bathsheba while working on a Barbados travel guide for a German editor. The main house and the cottage are built in a traditional island style out of wood with large patios. The seven rooms are decorated with mahogany furniture, louver window treatments, rattan chairs, locally handcrafted clay lamps and batik art.
