Victory is seventh heaven for Crofter's Lodge; TYNESIDE AMATEUR LEAGUE.

BLAKELAW Crofters Lodge entertained Blyth Spartans A in Division One and battered them with onetouch football, winning 7-0. Lee Brady ran the show for Blakelaw in centre midfield, Micky Armstrong was outstanding scoring two, Lee Garwood bagged a hat-trick and Arron Chalmers and Chris Hutchison were also on target.

Red Star Benwell had a good result against Wardley, with a 7-1 win.

Andy Shaw hit a hat-trick, Tom Paully notched twice, with Andy Bruce and Lee Shickle also on target - Brian Crane replying.

Walker Central moved to second place with a 4-2 win over Pin Point FC.

Steve Vickers, Jason Johnson, Lee Finnighan and Liam Soames all scored, with Race and McMillan replying for Pin Point.

New York had Paul Noone and Carl Stewart to thank for their 2-0 home win over Blyth Thoroton, while West Jesmond Beat hosts Gosforth Bohemians 1-0 in a very close encounter, Jed Manual the goalscorer. Blyth Town Res beat Lindisfarne Athletic 4-1 with strikes from Paul Huck (2), Andrew Welsh and Andrew Stephenson. Jonny Storey scored for Lindisfarne.

In Division Two, Gosforth Bohemians lost 4-2 to visitors Longbenton FC.

A double for David Shaw and goals for David Cain and Glen Day did the damage, with Mac Grillian and Mark Envy on target for Bohemians . Rutherford Gateshead beat Newcastle Medicals 3-2 Spalding, Tumelty and Stewart on target for Rutherford, Carnell and Bell replying for Medicals.

Stella Board Inn drew 4-4 with Cullercoats A. Michael Robinson, Matty Feathergill, Lee Kelly and Craig Rook the Cullercoats marksmen - Mark Delson (2), Craig Toat, and Ashley Cole with the counters.
