A POLICE dog found dead at his handler's home is believed to have died of natural causes.
An investigation was launched after Buzz, the German shepherd, died at the property in Amble, Northumberland, some time on Sunday night.
A 33-year-old man from Linton, near Morpeth, was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill a police dog handler and conspiring to cause damage to the dog.
However, a post mortem revealed the dog was likely to have died of natural causes.
The man is now on bail.
