BUDDING singers are being sought for a concert later this year.

Volunteers are needed for the Sing Live North East concert at Newcastle City Hall.

The event, Sing the Music of the Big Bands, will feature hits from The Ratpack and Ella Fitzgerald, and will take place on Sunday November 22.

Rehearsals start this Thursday at United Reformed Church, Burdon Terrace, Jesmond, Newcastle.

No auditions are necessary to take part and no experience is needed.
